Built by Fowler of Leeds and contracted to F Sharp & Sons of Blandford, this colourful road roller reminds us of the powerful machines associated with the Showman scene in those early days. This example, registered TK 4285, is decorated in a brown red with bright signal red steering wheel, black roof and cream roof interior with masses of extra intricate detail. The fine coachlines are printed in gold on both the body and the wheels. The name of the locomotive 'Fippenny Queen' as it belonged to A W Field is also printed in gold along the edge of the roof.
